Matthew 16:19
“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
Acts 2:14-15
“But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.”
Oh, blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus, blessed be His wonderful name! Let us bless Him today, not because of anything we have done but because He loves us and truly desires a daily relationship with us. My brothers and sisters, He wants to walk with us and talk with us, so let us open our hearts to receive His glorious presence. In His presence, there is fullness of joy and at His right hand, there are pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11). So, with great joy, I thank God for you, and I pray you are in good health wherever you are today!
As the final days of this year approach, one may find themselves reflecting on some of the “wins” and “losses” of 2024. As we get closer to the end of the year it is only natural to start thinking about the expectations for the year to come. Some of us may have personal goals we are looking forward to achieve, such as:
A healthier diet/ weight loss
Improving your credit score
Paying off student loan s
Paying off credit card debt
These goals are definitely important, and the list could go on and on. But have you ever thought of setting goals for the Kingdom of God? Today, I want to encourage you to set the Kingdom of God as a priority on your to-do list for the new year. As we are prepare for what the Lord is getting ready to do, we should ensure that we are able to “UNLOCK THE DOOR" of whatever He is placing before us. The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is coming back, but are we ready? Can we "UNLOCK THE DOOR" of God’s expectations and the assignment He has given to you?
I would like to take a moment to thank the Lord for you and the assignment He has given you. Praise God! Every member in the body of Christ is necessary and important. Paul the Apostle said in 1 Corinthians 3:6-9(NLT), “I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow. The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work. For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building.” The Apostle and many of his fellow workers in the kingdom had a made-up mind to "UNLOCK THE DOOR" to the Kingdom of GOD, wherever God planted the soles of their feet. Just like your feet, yes, your beautiful feet. 😊"How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!" (Romans 10:15).
John the Baptist knew his purpose as the forerunner for Christ Jesus, which was to prepare the disciples for One coming that would be the Lamb of God, the One who would take the sins of the world. John said in Matthew 3:2 (NKJV) “…Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” I love the Amplified version which says, “Repent [change your inner self- your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life], for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” John desired to complete his God- given purpose by unlocking the door for all who heard His voice in the wilderness to turn to Jesus. Saints, Jesus wants to live within us so we can be carriers of His glory and have the key to “UNLOCK THE DOOR” to the Kingdom of Heaven.
It says in Matthew 16:24, “Then Jesus said to his disciples, If any of you want to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?[a] is anything worth more than your soul?” We see here that God is preparing His precious disciples for a time that is coming to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15-18, Luke 24:45-49, Acts 1:4-8) [please read each scripture].
So, are you ready for the task? Are you ready to "UNLOCK THE DOOR"? As we step into a new year, many of us have personal goals for ourselves, but what about the assignment God has given us to complete? Today, I want to encourage us all to keep our minds on things above and not on earthly things (Colossians 3:2). For this world desires to draw us away from being prepared for the coming of the Lord and completing our God given assignment, which was ordained before we were even conceived in our mother's womb. The Lord said to His prophet Jeremiah, "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations" (Jeremiah 1:5). God wants to use us to fulfill His purpose, to see His kingdom come, and His will be done. He desires us to be empowered by the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, which gives us the power to go forth. This is the beautiful treasure of the Holy Ghost, which is why Jesus died for you and me so that we could be empowered to complete the work given to us. So, are you ready, brethren? Are you prepared?
In our focus scriptures, Matthew 16, Jesus gives His Apostle Peter access with keys to the Kingdom to utilize for completing the Great Commission that Jesus commanded them to fulfill when He was resurrected and before He ascended to heaven. I want to encourage you that it's a promise for us all! A promise that has not only been given to us but also to the next generation and generations after! I believe this for my family, my children, and their children.
In Acts 2:14-15, Peter preaches with power that only came from the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon his life. This mighty great sermon Peter preached was the first sermon of the newborn church of Jesus Christ. Peter preached to thousands of men about the fulfillment of Joel's prophecy and the resurrection. As he continues to preach under the influence of the Holy Ghost, Peter "UNLOCK THE DOOR” with the same keys God promised him in Matthew 16. He "UNLOCK THE DOOR" to the Plan of Salvation noted in Acts 2:38"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Saints of God, as we prepare to go into the New Year, let us equip our hearts to "UNLOCK THE DOOR" to the plan of salvation to all nations. Let us equip our hearts to what is in store, the coming of the Lord. Brethren, something is coming! Let us be ready together, no man left behind! I desire for all of us to make it together! Peter was given the keys to the kingdom! Will you receive these keys, and "UNLOCK THE DOOR"?

Psalms 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
OUR PRAYER
ABBA FATHER! OUR FRIEND JESUS! OUR FATHER WHICH ART IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE THY NAME! THY KINGDOM COME! THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN!!
Heavenly Father, Lord, we thank you for this day. For the opportunity that we as sisters and brothers can encourage each other with the Word. For it is written that iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another (Proverbs 27:17). Our hearts rejoice because of your mercies, faithfulness, and love towards us. We are grateful because you are God and that you give us time to repent and make it right with you, and desire for none to perish and all to come unto you and repent before it's too late. Lord, we repent of our sins and ask that you wash us, purge out of us everything that is not of you. Lord we lift up your children and pray this word will take root, and that they will grab a hold of the keys you promised to the kingdom of God so we can "UNLOCK THE DOOR" to this great plan of salvation to give to all. Lord, we pray that you will cover us all in the mighty name of Jesus!!! Amen.
HEAVEN BLESS YOU!!!
Love u with the love of the Lord
